amani is a 17 year old black girl who goes by she/her pronouns. she prefers not to use any sexuality labels for herself ("i don't have time to be gay or straight, i care about if i pass my GEEs.") she is the president of the umenti boarding academy student council, and the head ambassador for the day class. she's an effective leader and organizer (hence the role), but struggles with connecting with the students on a social level... that's what her vice president if for right? well, the headmaster didn't agree with her. too bad!
